Improving legislation on rehabilitation of victims of political repression
Was organized by the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights, National Minorities and International Relations jointly with the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance and the program «RADA: responsibility, accountability, democratic parliamentary representation."There were deputies of Ukraine, representatives of state and local governments, commissions on restoration of rights of rehabilitated, associations and repressed political prisoners, human rights organizations and academia.
With the assistance of deputies of Ukraine Alexander Gerega of Khmelnitsky region attended Lozovoy Vadim Nikolaevich, deputy Khmelnytsky Oblast Council, Bendyuzhko Alina Mikhailovna Chairman Gorodok District Society of political prisoners and victims of repression and Siruk Vasily, editor of the regional newspaper Vinkovetsky "Village News".

The discussion contributed Vasyl Shevchenko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, and Andriy Kohut, director of the SBU archive branch manager of the intensive care reform package "The Politics of National Remembrance."
People's deputy of Ukraine, deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for veterans, combatants, members of anti-terrorist operations and people with disabilities Yuriy Shukhevych focused on legislative initiatives on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the rehabilitation of victims of political repressions in Ukraine. "Next Podkur Roman, a senior researcher at the Institute of History of Ukraine, executive secretary of the Main editorial board of scientific and documentary books series "Rehabilitated by History" presented a bill on amending the Law of Ukraine "On the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression in Ukraine", prepared by the Ukrainian Institute of National memory. The head of legal projects NGO "Institute of Mass Information" Golovenko Roman Bogdanovich presented the key stories of the bill.
